Set of 5 custom made japanese kitchen knives "Samurai"  made of Damascus steel. The handle is made of Wenge. It complies with the requirements of GOST Р 51644-2000 "Skinning and Carving Knives".


Santoku (jap. 三徳包丁) - means «three types of use», i.е. cut, chop and mince.

Nakiri (jap. 菜切) is translated from Japanese as a "knife for slicing vegetables." & nbsp;
  Nakiri is designed for cutting vegetables and fruits, sometimes dough (for noodles), but often Nakiri is used as a universal knife for everything. Exception: power work (typical, for example, for the deba).

Deba (jap. 出刃) - is translated from the Japanese as "pointed cutting knife." The first mention of the knife dates back to the beginning of the Edo period (1603 - 1868) in the city of Sakai. The sturdy blade allows you to cut the fish fillet right over the bones. & Nbsp;
  When working with deba, two thirds of the blades are used for cutting, and the last third, the one that is closer to the handle, is used for cutting and dismemberment.

Yanagiba (jap. 柳刃 ) the name of the knife can be translated as "willow leaf", the blade form is similar to it. & nbsp;
