Army knife "NR-40" is made of h12mf steel, wenge handle. This knife is well-known as NR-40 (fighting knife), which was used by reconnaissance companies and subdivisions of automatic riflemen who had no bayonets.
Thanks to its simple design and convenience in the close combat, the knife was used in the Soviet Union and several Warsaw Pact countries since 1940 to the 1960s.
Scope of Supply

4. Wooden case (securing the kinfe during transportation).
